YOUNG PEOPLE
Glow Kids
At SCC we firmly believe that children and young people are not the church of tomorrow, they are, in fact, the church of today. To this end, our youth are actively invited to attend both the main church services, and the additional ‘bespoke’ services for their relevant age-group. There are also a range of regular social activities as well as other regional and national church events.
Glow Kids has been recently launched at SCC with the aim of teaching our key stage 2 children all about the Word of God in a fun packed session each Sunday morning.
With Bible stories, songs, quizzes, arts and crafts, Glow Kids has something for everyone
Worship is a fundamentally important part of our meeting together on a Sunday morning, and at SCC, we are really keen to involve the young people in every aspect of our services - from serving in the stewarding teams to leading different aspects of our meetings. We regularly have young people playing and singing in the worship team and actively participating in our Sunday services. Not only is this a great blessing to the church as a whole, but this allows the young people to develop and nurture the talents and abilities that God has given them, and moves them in the direction of achieving their full potential in their walk with God.
